Sparkling at Diamonds

Mallorca attacks the senses, not only with its breathtaking sea and mountain views, but also with its exciting nightlife especially now that it can offer a new, extremely chic venue that the island's nightlife needed. Diamonds, a cutting-edge freshly opened club in Can Pastilla, in what was the Babalú disco, is one of those places that invites you to spend an enjoyable night in the smart but relaxed atmosphere of its baroque lounge and beautiful terrace.

After having dinner in one of Can Pastilla's seafood restaurants and maybe visiting some of the international bars in the area, Diamonds is the best option for a weekend night or even during the week as in summer it will be open from Wednesday to Sunday. Put on your most chic clothes as the bodyguards will be making sure guests adhere to the dress code, caring for comfort of the clients and the image of this new venue.

Diamonds has a spacious dancehall with three bars and a terrace where another two bars are located. Inside there is an upper VIP area that is directly connected to a VIP terrace. What stands out in the dark, reddish and silverish decorations are crystal chandeliers in red and black, which give the baroque touch to these modern interiors. Passing the main entrance, on the right-hand side there is a lighter area with cosy sofas where we can see photos taken by a Vogue photographer, which shows Diamonds staff posing in glamorous and bohemian settings.

As far as the staff are concerned, Diamonds director Rafael Escalante –who has many years experience of the Mallorca nightlife industry, has chosen the best barmen, go-go dancers, waitresses and PRs to make your night out even more pleasant.

However, what makes the place really special is the excellent music selection, provided by some of the most renowned DJs from Mallorca such as Kiko Navarro, Pepe Link and Boris Cantero, who spin house music in the best clubs on the island and abroad. At Diamonds we can expect great dance music, simple house rhythms that with delicious cocktails and the company of friends are going to guarantee an unforgettable night.
